About AI Fluency

AI Fluency is a comprehensive training course designed to help knowledge workers develop practical AI skills they can apply immediately in their work.

Why This Course Exists

Most AI courses offer basic ChatGPT tips or academic theory. What's missing is practical training that helps people use AI as a multiplier: to produce better results faster, tackle more ambitious projects, and accomplish what would be impossible on their own.

That's why I created this course.

I'm Briana Brownell, founder of Pure Strategy. I've taught AI skills to Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and millions of readers through TIME Magazine and TED. Regardless of the setting, be it training executives or writing for a general audience, I kept seeing the same pattern: people understood AI was important but struggled to move beyond occasional use to making it a reliable part of how they work.

This course solves that problem with the same frameworks and techniques I use in my own work and teach to enterprise clients.

How This Course Works

You'll learn how to structure complex multi-turn conversations, avoid pitfalls that undermine quality, and apply proven frameworks to high-stakes tasks. These techniques have been validated through research and real-world use.

About the Instructor

I'm Briana Brownell, founder of Pure Strategy. I've spent over a decade in data science, machine learning, and AI—advising organizations from the United Nations to Fortune 50 companies on turning advanced analytics into actionable strategy. I've also taught millions to use AI effectively, from the 1 million viewers of my TED-Ed video on how AI learns to the 2 million readers of my User's Guide to Generative AI in TIME Magazine.
